SABER is an online platform that allows manufacturers and distributors to register their facilities within one comprehensive system. Whether a product is imported or locally manufactured, the SABER system allows the introduction into the Saudi market.
The introduction of SABER in the past years has significantly reduced the complexity of the required forms needed for importing goods into Saudi Arabia, by introducing one streamlined system for the entire process.
The SABER process can be summarized as follows:
Facility Registration -> Product Registration -> Product Certificate of Conformity Request (PCoC) -> Shipment Certificate of Conformity (SCoC) for imported products
RACS is a SASO approved conformity assessment body and can assist you all the way with the facility registration to the product registration up until the issuance of the PCoC and the SCoC. This ensures that your shipping timeline is met and that imported goods comply with Saudi Arabia’s standards, specifications, and regulations.
